The Swedish all-electric boating company has released the X Shore 1, a new and 100% electric ‘affordable’ performance boat! X Shore claims that the goal of this new boat is to help accelerate the energy transition of the boating industry to electric power.
Speed up the transition CEO Jenny Keisu said: “The X Shore 1 enters the market at a remarkably low price point, as we must make electric boating competitive with fossil-fuel boats to speed up the transition. Just as importantly, by launching the X Shore 1, X Shore is hoping to encourage a new generation of boat owners, and show them that electric boating is not just the future, but the present.”
X Shore claims that in 50 hours on the water a common six to 10-metre high-performance combustion engine boat will produce emissions that compare to around seven round air trips between the USA and Europe.

The X Shore 1 will not be compromised on performance, comfort or speed, despite the relative low price. This new electric boat will be built in Sweden where X Shore has plans to grow fast to an efficient production.
A stylish, zero emissions day boat The X Shore 1 can be ordered with a top or as an open boat. Full exterior enclosure is possible. This zero emission boat is not only designed to look good, but also to be optimized for low resistance and maximum hull efficiency.
The open transom design offers easy access to the swimming platform. The lay out includes two helm seats, reversible cockpit seating and steps to the foredeck. Due to its smart design there is generous space to socialise, dine, enjoy watersports like wakeboarding, sunbathe, relax and sleep.
This stylish electric performance boat has a clean, minimalistic Scandinavian design that will naturally blend in with nature.
Family boat The cabin version can accommodate a family of 4 but also offers ample storage space. In order to maximize a comfortable stay on the water, the X Shore 1 has space to place a (chemical) toilet.
The front deck offers a spacious corked sun deck which in combination with the customized cushions will be a perfect spot to relax.
The front deck is not the only place to fully relax. Once you are at anchor you can enjoy the possibility to make a full beam sunbed and swimming platform at the aft. This will provide full panoramic views of the natural infinity pool.
