Welcome to Natural Yachts' zero-emission harbour - Vollenhove and Blokzijl.
After checking in, you can boat to the charming harbour of Vollenhove or the much-loved city Blokzijl, ofcourse it is also possible to spend the night in our harbour.
Natural Yachts' harbour is located in the centre of the Netherlands, but Friesland is also close by! From our harbour, you can be in Friesland in just 2 hours and 45 minutes by boat. During your cruise to the Frisian lakes, you will pass through the beautiful National Park Weerribben-Wieden where you can fully enjoy the beautiful nature and tranquillity on the water. With this boating route, we hope to inspire you for a boating holiday with an electric boat in Friesland with Weerribben-Wieden as starting point.
From our harbour to Blokzijl is about 60 min of boating.
From Blokzijl, you boat via the Giethoornsche Meer (stay close to the red buoyage signage) and the famous Kalenberg canals to Ossenzijl. Right at the border of Overijssel and Friesland.
You can spend the night at 'Jachthaven de Kluft', at this harbour you can charge with only 6 ampère. To get some extra electricity, this is okay (and cheap). However, it is also possible to stay the night at 'Jachthaven Ossenzijl', where you can charge with 16 ampère (but this is a bit more costly).
From Blokzijl to Echtenerbrug is about 3 hours and 30 min of boating.
The Friesland boating route takes you from Ossenzijl to Echtenerbrug via the Tsjûkemar, the Grutte Brekken and the Brandemar to the fortified town of Sloten. This is the smallest of the famous Eleven Frisian Cities, but definitely recommended! Sloten has a cosy city centre, canal houses, historic buildings, a mill and an old cannon. At a beautiful place, after the bridge in Sloten in the Sleattemer Gat, you can spend the night. This is close to the city center and you can charge with 16 ampère.
From Ossenzijl to Sloten is about 3 hours and 30 minutes of boating.
Fancy some more boating? Woudsend is right in the heart of the Frisian lake district, between Slotermeer and Heegermeer. Woudsend is a cosy water sports village with charming narrow streets, mills and churches.
From Sloten to Woudsend is about 45 min of boating.
In the mood to explore bustling Heeg? The 'Passantenhaven Heegerwâl' marina is easily accessible from the Heegermeer lake. At this harbour you can charge with 12 ampère. You can also boat the 'Jachthaven de Eendracht' where you can charge with 10 ampère.
In watersports village Heeg, there are cosy terraces and restaurants. Right in the centre, you can admire the Palingaak, which used to export eels from Heeg to London.
From Heeg, you can cruise to Sneek via the Jeltesleat and the Prinses Margietkanaal to Sneek, the watersports capital of Friesland has much to offer. You can enjoy shopping, there are many gastronomic establishments and a visit to the Waterpoort, the symbol of Sneek, is a must. In Sneek you can charge easily at the canals or in the municipality harbour.
From Sloten, via Woudsend, via Heeg to Sneek is about 3 hours of boating.
From Sneek you boat via the Snitser Mar and the Prinses Margrietkanal to Grou, this is around 2 hours of boating.
If you feel like cruising a little longer, it is definitely worth exploring National Park de Alde Feanen. From Grou* or from National Park de Alde Feanen, you boat via Akkrum* to Terherne, this village surrounded by islands is known as Kameleon village from the children's books and movies about the adventures of twin brothers Hielke and Sietse. The trip from Terherne to Langweer is about 1 hour and 45 minutes by boat. The village of Langweer is popular among water sports enthusiasts and has an attractive centre.
From Sneek, via Grou via Akkrum and Terherne to Langweer is about 4 hours and 45 minutes of boating.

*In Grou and Akkrum you can charge excellently.
From Langweer, you cruise via the Tjeukemeer (stay well within the fairway here) to Passantenhaven Driewegsluis in the village which is also called the connection to the North, with the Frisian lakes on one side and the Weerribben-Wieden on the other.
From Langweer to Passentenhaven Driewegsluis is about 3 hours and 10 min of boating
Departing from Driewegsluis, you cruise past the fortified town Steenwijk. You continue the boating route via the Weerribben-Wieden to Vollenhove. This particularly beautiful national park is the largest low-moorland swamp in north-western Europe.
From Ossenzijl via Steenwijk to Vollenhove is about 4 hours and 10 min of boating.
